AEO (Authorised Economic Operator)
As early as 2015, De Paauw Sustainable Resources received the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate from Customs. With this, Customs and De Paauw want to underline that they have an effective and efficient working method to guarantee compliance with relevant (Customs) laws and regulations and to minimize risks for society. The issued AEO certificate shows that De Paauw meets the AEO requirements, including compliance with customs laws and regulations, proper administration and meeting the requirements for safe goods traffic in the logistics chain. The company takes its own responsibility and monitors the guarantees and safety procedures itself. Customs is in line with this and uses these safeguards such as internal control measures and relevant certifications in its supervision.
